Each map tells a unique story of contemporary knowledge, full of belief and prejudice. Answer the question with examples from the video. The answer should be at least two to three paragraphs long. Cook's Endeavor Captain Cook set sail on the Endeavour, a refitted Whitby coal ship, in 1768. With 93 men on board, and at just 100 feet in length, the Endeavour was to sail to Taihiti to watch the 'transit of Venus', and then on to the South Pacific to complete a top secret mission. Write a poem about the voyage of Captain Cook and what it meant to the people of the time period. Make sure you use terms and/or information from the video! | |

opportunity for university marine archaeologists to submit a proposal for
the chance to excavate a recent discovery of a Spanish Galleon. The
galleon was found at the Key Largo Coral Reef in the National Marine
Sanctuary. The shipwreck was located by NOA's Costal Operation, which
analyzes bottom habitats. You have been chosen to serve on a marine
